Forest Lagoon features two geothermal pools, each designed to enhance relaxation and well-being. The larger pool spans 530m² and is maintained at a comfortable 37°C (98.6°F), offering two swim-up bars and an indoor entry for convenience. The smaller pool, at 53m², provides a slightly warmer experience at 40°C (104°F), perfect for those seeking extra warmth and tranquility.
A Finnish-style dry sauna adds to the wellness experience, reaching temperatures of 80°C with humidity levels around 20%. Unlike steam rooms, this sauna relies solely on dry heat, promoting relaxation while offering stunning views of Eyjafjörður and the surrounding mountains. Guests are required to wear swimsuits while using the sauna.
For those looking to embrace the benefits of hot-and-cold therapy, a cold pool is located nearby. With a temperature of 11°C (51.8°F), it provides a refreshing contrast to the warmth of the sauna, helping to invigorate the body and mind.
To complete the experience, Forest Bistro offers a cozy dining space where guests can enjoy high-quality cuisine in a beautifully wood-clad setting. Overlooking the fjord and featuring a warm indoor fireplace, the bistro provides the perfect place to unwind after a soak.
With its natural surroundings, soothing waters, and thoughtfully designed spaces, Forest Lagoon is more than just a spa—it’s a retreat into Iceland’s breathtaking landscape, offering relaxation, rejuvenation, and an unforgettable connection to nature.
