Bus No.572 (ZZK76)the emergency exit in the rear roof leaked, making the experience very unpleasant. Also, it rained heavily the day we visited, and everyone’s clothes were soaked, but there was nowhere to dry them on the bus. Furthermore, since we were staying at the bus hostel, why couldn’t you have another free pick-up point at your own hotel? The main issue is that your bus departs from there, forcing us to walk to stop 12.
The guide was super nice and energetic. And he took so many pics for us. Best trip ever!

I am really glad I chose bustravel. Though it was cold, we were able to see the strong northern light for 10 minutes! The small group was nice! I booked the tour last minute and driver picked us up no problem.
I did the Golden Circle tour with Monika, and honestly, she was absolutely class from start to finish. Her dry sense of humour was right up my street, she had everyone laughing all day but what really stood out was how knowledgeable and passionate she was about Iceland. You could tell she genuinely loves sharing about the country’s history, geology, and culture.
We visited some incredible places: Thingvellir National Park, where the tectonic plates meet; the Strokkur geyser, which was amazing to watch erupt; the powerful Gullfoss waterfall, which was breathtaking; and the beautiful Kerið crater with its vivid blue lake at the bottom. Monika even went out of her way to add an extra stop so we could see the Icelandic horses up close, which was such a lovely touch and made the day feel really personal.
She kept everything running smoothly, gave us plenty of time at each stop, and somehow managed to make the long drives fly by with her stories and witty commentary. We ended the tour at the Blue Lagoon, which was the perfect way to finish an already incredible day.
If you’re thinking about doing the Golden Circle tour, ask for Monika! she made it one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had!
