    We were lucky to have Gary as our guide and Eugene as our driver. Eugene drove smoothly, as if the ice and darkness in the middle of the night were nothing. Gary was friendly, patient and good at explaining what we were to expect. When we arrived at our viewpoint, Gary set everybody\'s phone, so we\'d all be ready for the perfect photo. After a long and unsuccessful time of waiting, Gary cheered us up, saying that his app gave us a good chance of seeing the northern lights, if we only waited patiently. It got later and later and all the other busses which chose the same lookout left one after another, until we were the only group left. Even then, Gary remained optimistic. When we tried to get warm on the bus, he told us he still wanted to wait because he did not want to be the guy who had given up too early, but before he could even finish his sentence he said "I see lights!" and we all hopped out of the bus. Everyone was happy and helped one another take photos. Thank you, Gary, for having made this night so special and for having been persistent when everybody else gave up. For me, it was just the perfect ending of my trip to Iceland! Read more

Geisars, and waterfall amazing, but my best part was feeding the Icelandic horses. Thought too dark to do.the last bit of the tour, national park did not feel.safe walking down & up in the dysk, no lights, shop was shut glad toilets open. Read more

    Just been dropped off by our driver/tour guide, Srindi, after a fabulous day on this wonderful tour. Srindi is a very personable and knowledgeable guide, and his passion for his Icelandic homeland shone through. He drove carefully along the route, and through extremely inhospitable weather (a blizzard at Thingvellir National Park whilst viewing the tectonic plates). He took the safest route back to avoid the worst snow drifts. I’d urge people to take this tour and even ask for Srindi to be their Guide. Read more
