Many of the hotels we partner with on our multi-day tours are located in remote areas, far from light pollution, making them perfect for spotting the Northern Lights. If weather conditions are favorable, there's a good chance you'll witness this mesmerizing natural display during your tour with us. Most hotels also offer a Northern Lights wake-up call upon request at the front desk when the lights are visible. Please remember that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so their appearance can't be guaranteed. However, the best opportunities to see them occur between September and March when the skies are dark and clear.
We strongly recommend booking a multi-day tour with a start date at least one day after your arrival in Iceland. While it may be possible to join the tour if you arrive early—particularly if you're coming from the US or landing in the early morning (4-6:30 am)—there are potential risks, such as flight delays, that could cause you to miss the tour.
