We joined the Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon Tour with BusTravel Iceland on the first full day of our trip, and it was truly the perfect way to begin our Iceland experience. I was traveling with a group of 22 Black queer women, and every single person in our group loved this tour. From start to finish, the day was exceptionally well organized and thoughtfully paced. Pickup was smooth, the bus was comfortable, and our guide set the tone right away with a great mix of information, storytelling, humor, and care. We never felt rushed, but we also managed to see so much in one day without feeling overwhelmed. The Golden Circle highlights were stunning. Þingvellir National Park felt powerful and grounding, especially learning about its historical and geological significance. Watching the geysers erupt was pure joy, and Gullfoss was absolutely breathtaking. Even in winter conditions, the stops felt safe, accessible, and well timed for photos, walking around, and simply taking it all in. The Secret Lagoon was the perfect way to end the day. After being out in the cold, soaking in the warm, natural hot springs was incredibly relaxing and restorative. It felt authentic, calm, and not overly commercial, which our group really appreciated. Many of us said it was one of our favorite moments of the entire trip. As a group that travels together often, feeling welcomed and well cared for matters to us, and BusTravel Iceland delivered on that in every way. Our guide was respectful, attentive, and made everyone feel included. The tour felt thoughtfully designed for travelers who want both iconic sights and meaningful experiences. This tour set the tone for the rest of our week in Iceland. It was educational, beautiful, relaxing, and genuinely fun. I would absolutely recommend this tour to first time visitors and group travelers, and I would not hesitate to book with BusTravel Iceland again. Read more
