Once everyone is on board, we leave the city behind and begin our journey toward the geothermal activity and volcanic landscapes of West Iceland. This family-friendly tour offers a unique opportunity to explore some of the region’s most breathtaking sights, including historic sites, national parks, and easily accessible natural wonders.

1 Deildartunguhver Hot SpringsFeel the heat of Iceland’s volcanic power at Deildartunguhver hot springs, Europe’s most powerful hot spring. Here, 180 liters of near-boiling water erupt every second, providing hot water to entire towns across West Iceland. Walk safely along boardwalks past steaming vents and colorful geothermal formations, a perfect introduction to Iceland’s geothermal energy and geothermal pools.

2 Hraunfossar – Water from Lava FieldsExplore Hraunfossar, a series of delicate waterfalls where glacial water emerges from the Hallmundarhraun lava field, a vast expanse of black lava rock formed centuries ago.
