Setting off from Reykjavík, our adventure leads us along the weathered southern coastline, towards the small village of Vík. Take in the varied landscapes, ranging from lava fields to coastal cliffs.
1 Tandem Paragliding adventureFrom the hills overlooking Vík, led by our certified guide, take flight on your tandem paragliding adventure. No experience is needed on your part as all the work will be done by your flying partner, our guide. The route you will take varies according to the weather, but generally we take in the aeriel view of Vík and its black volcanic sand beach. Sometime we venture as far as Reynisfjara beach, with its astounding geometric basalt cliffs and distinctive basalt sea stacks of Reynisdrangar.
Your flight time is 10-15 minutes.
2 VíkAfter your paragliding adventure, enjoy some free time in the lovely town of Vík, to explore, shop, and dine.
3 Skógafoss WaterfallSkógafoss is a powerful waterfall and one of the key attraction of south Iceland. From a height of 60 meters, a deluge of water plunges to ground level, creating a mist spray that you will feel long before reaching the best viewing area. If you are feeling energetic, why not take on the challenge of climbing the steps to the viewing platform at the top of Skógafoss. Magnificent vista views of the mountain and coastline are your reward, and you xan even spot the Westman Islands far off to sea to your south.
4 Seljalandsfoss WaterfallPerhaps Iceland´s most beautiful waterfall, Seljalandsfoss enchants all visitors. Aside from its beauty, Seljalandsfoss is most noteworthy for one unique feature – a cavernous space behind the waterfall that allows visitors to walk behind the cascading water. During the summer months, the area comes alive with vibrant wildflowers, creating a picturesque scene.
