We were originally scheduled for a similar tour which was canceled so they rebooked us. Our original tour included Sky Lagoon and I incorrectly thought that part of the tour was canceled as the new tour didn’t include it. After we returned to our room, I received a call from the company asking if we would still like to go to Sky Lagoon. Because the bus had already left, they sent a taxi (that they paid for!) to pick us up and then to take us home. I feel they went above and beyond for us. Also, our tour guide on the tour was fantastic. Thomas seemed to know everything and was happy to answer any questions. This was such a great day!
This is actually a 6-day ring road tour starting and ending in Reykjavik with an additional 11-12 hour round trip from Reykjavik to the Snaefellnes Peninsula on either the day before or the day after. I would skip the Snaefellsnes Peninsula; you won\’t see anything more interesting than on the ring road tour. Although the tour difficulty is listed as easy, there are a few places where it is necessary to climb over very uneven rocks, which can be difficult and dangerous. Overall it was a good tour. We had a great guide named Vala.
Brin and her father were a wonderful team driving us on our tour to the falls and farm from our cruise ship. They also accommodated us by dropping us off in town after the tour for some shopping.
The falls are amazing and it was a pleasant stop at the farm to hear about farming in Iceland. The happy wedding cake was delicious.
Great day out with Eva who was entertaining and informative throughout, fantastic tour guide, music on the bus was a bonus + loved the impromptu yoga session at the canyon. Her enthusiasm was infectious and made for a great tour
