This tour completely exceeded my expectations – I was deeply touched several times along the way. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking and incredibly diverse. From dramatic coastlines to peaceful mountains, the Snæfellsnes Peninsula truly offers a little bit of everything. I felt like I got to see a rich slice of Iceland’s natural beauty, all in one day. What made the trip even more special was the small group – it felt personal, friendly, and never rushed. We were also incredibly lucky with the weather, which gave us the chance to fully enjoy every stop. A huge thank you to Alain, our amazing guide, who brought the entire day to life with his warmth, humor, and fascinating stories. He shared so many details that made each place feel meaningful and memorable – and as a cherry on top, he even sang for us at the end of the tour. A truly heartwarming moment! I can’t recommend this tour enough. If you’re considering exploring this part of Iceland, do it – and if you get Alain as your guide, you’re in for something really special.
A great one-day tour through a really beautiful and interesting part of Iceland! Addi, our guide, was super friendly and knew so much about history, mythology, and geology. I’d totally recommend this tour if you want to experience the Icelandic countryside!
I did this small group tour with my husband and another couple back in early March and it was the best experience!
Our guide was Sigfus and he went above and beyond to make sure that the whole group had the best time. He was very knowledgeable, took us to all the spots, shared great histories about each and was a great driver through the extreme conditions Iceland can get during winter!
He even gave us recommendations for other places we planned to visit on our own after the tour! 100% would go back and book a small group tour with Bus Travel and Sigfus!
We went on the Northern Lights Bux Tour on Friday April 4. Our trip guide was Jessica! She did a fabulous job. She was gracious, well informed and very patient. We had a magical experience. The Aurora did not disappoint. It was a fabulous show. We appreciated the places we visited and the cocoa that was offered. All in all a great experience. We were fortunate that all elements that were needed, were present too. Well done Jessica!
