Westfjords Half-Day Hiking Tour from Ísafjörður
This 5 hour hiking tour serves as a great introduction to the mountains and sea vistas for which the western fjords region of Iceland is famed.
Join your local hiking expert and ascend across a mountain ridge pass with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. We explore the valleys of Seljalandsdalur and Hnífsdalur whilst travessing the hills that separate them. Hike past crystal clear lake, mossy hills and trickling streams as we explore the mountains surrounding this port town.
The remote outpost of Ísafjörður serves as the starting point for this fun half-day adventure. A perfect chance for cruise passengers docking here to stretch their legs and fill their lungs with the clean air of the Icelandic countryside. Considered moderate in difficulty, this sometimes challenging hike rewards you with great new views and perspectives every few meters.
